Biography
I was born in Bellville(WP) sometime in the seventies. My family loved music, but no-one was involved in the music industry. I just always knew that I would be a singer one day. I got the oppertunity to join a music school in Bellville when at the age of 15 and knew I found my 'thing'. I entered talent competitions and received many 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. In 1991 I was among the top 10 in the 'Sterre 2000' countrywide singing competition. Amongst the other contestants were: Karla du Plessis, Ingemar Trieloff, Jolette Odendaal, Natasja Groeneveld and Lize Beekman, all of them are accomplished singers in the South-African market today..

In Dec 1991 I joined my first band and continued playing tha band circuit in and around Cape Town until 1998 when I moved to Pretoria. I bought my own PA and decided to work mostly as a solo artist - there was a lot more work for solo acts. I met Andre Hartman from Infinity studios and recorded the song "Grandpa" for my Grandmothers 80th birthday. Then I met Guillaume through the studio and with his help I recorded my debut CD. The CD wasn't a success and I can only attribute that to wrong choice of music and inexperience. I didn't 'believe' in the product and wasn't motivated to sell it.

Dec 1999 - Appearance on Noot vir Noot and Tony Sanderson's TV show.

Dec 2000 to May 2001 - Jordan(Amman), Egypt(Cairo) and Lebanon(Beirut, Faraya) performing and staying in 5 star hotels. (FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!)

May 2003 - Appearance on Maak 'n las.

Dec 2003 till present - Back of the Moon dinner dance venue at Gold Reef City. (co-owned by Felicia Mabuza-Suttle), Various corporate functions including KPMG, Farewell fuction for Mr. Helder Perreira from Sun International etc.

I just released my 2nd CD called In the Meantime..

People have been asking me forever to please make a CD and here it is. It is an appetizer and is a collection of the top requests which I have received from fans over the past 5 years.

I am going to record all original songs for my third CD and its release date will be in 2009, maybe at the KKNK, but will keep you posted..
